Rated 90 points this Blanc de Blanc is made of 100% Pinot Blanc. It is a pale straw color and delicate on the palate with notes of orange blossom candied ginger, apple and spices. It is delicious pairing for a large variety of foods. Indian and Thai cuisines come easily to mind.

Tamarack Cabernet
August 29, 2011
Our friends at Tamarack Cellars of Walla Walla are largely known for their deliciously reliable "Firehouse Red". It's a tasty little gem we love to offer and drink, but, their main focus is Cabernet. And just to prove it, their 2007 Cabernet has received a nice score from the Wine Spectator of 93 points. $26.00 btl.
It's loaded with vineyard pedigree, like Seven Hills, Tapteil, DuBrul, and Ciel du Cheval, just to name a few and is carefully made by hand. It's the real deal.
Du Mol Chardonnay
August 24, 2011
Du Mol Chardonnay from the Russian River.
95 pts Connoisseur's Guide:$55.00 btl.
A fair dose of oak, and plenty of perfectly ripened, exceptionally well focused varietal fruit. Made from a blend of 8 separate vineyards including Dutton, Ritchie & Heintz. Wonderfully layered flavors of tropical fruit, brioche, hazelnut & smokey notes. A serious & sensual opulent California Chardonnay!
Insignia 2008
August 22, 2011
95-97 pts - Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate (Issue #192, December 2010)
“The blend of the 2008 Insignia, 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petit Verdot and 4% Merlot, is not terribly different from the 2007. However, I suspect the production will be a lot less given the frost damage in early spring. The color is an inky/purple and the wine shows lots of cassis, blueberry, graphite and floral notes, good acidity, stunning concentration and purity, and a long finish. Another great success for Phelps, the 2007 and 2008 Insignias may be the best back-to-back vintages they have produced since 1995 and 1994. The 2008 has some tannins to resolve whereas the 2007 has already assimilated them. It appears the 2008 will require 2-3 years of bottle age, but should last for three decades.”
Louis Roederer Brut Premier
August 19, 2011
Champagne Louis Roederer Brut Premier NV - WS91
"Light and lively, featuring apple, toast, ginger and light vanilla flavors. Balanced and on the dry side, with a creamy texture and a lingering butter pastry aftertaste. Drink now through 2011."

Long Shadows Feather Cabernet Columbia Valley 2007 - $63.00/btl
Produced by Randy Dunn (the legendary man behind 33 years at his own Dunn Vineyards of Napa and formerly of Caymus, Pahlmeyer and other landmark Napa producers) in collaboration with Allen Shoup’s Long Shadows project, Dunn brings his skill and artistry to Washington state. In his mind, the Columbia Valley and its vineyards offer just the right complimentary notes to create the perfect Washington Cabernet. This is one of the most unique and exciting projects happening anywhere!

Domaine Serene Cote Sud Chardonnay
June 21, 2011
Having local access to gorgeous, elegant wines is something we take pride in. As a local Oregonian, it's time to exercise that right.

Wine Specator - 93 points
"Supple and graceful, glowing with pear, lime, cream and clove flavors that expand beautifully on the long, vivid finish. This has both stuffing and elegance, with the balance to last. Drink now through 2016."
Kangarilla Road Cabernet
June 17, 2011
Once again, we have found ourselves in the midst of a killer PPD opportunity. Points Per Dollar. Some goodness from Down Under has come our way: Kangarilla Road Cabernet McClaren Vale 2006 - $22.00 = 94 points - James Halliday.
If you are not familiar with James Halliday, you should know he is the most influental wine critic in Australia and NZ. He is essentially "the Robert Parker of Oz" and does not give out points carelessly.
The review - 94 points:
"Immediately proclaims its regional origin with dark chocolate overtones to quite luscious black and redcurrant fruit; lovely mouthfeel; a great value."
Dehesa La Granja

The legendary Alejandro Fernandez's Dehesa La Granja 2004 has now dropped in price to $20.00/ bottle.

May 11, 2011
Champagne Louis Roederer Brut Premier NV. The price for this wine is a steal at $46.00/bottle BUT IT WILL EXPIRE ON DECEMBER 17TH. PLEASE take advantage of this remarkably low price for the holidays.
This was gem included in the Wine Spectator TOP 100 of 2009. We are also particularly grateful as it is the only champagne in the Top 100.
Champagne Louis Roederer Brut Premier NV - 91 points.
"Light and lively, featuring apple, toast, ginger and light vanilla flavors. Balanced and on the dry side, with a creamy texture and a lingering butter pastry aftertaste. Drink now through 2011."
Brut Premier is one of the most intricate of all Champagne wines to produce and the House of Louis Roederer is very proud of this wine. The current cuvée’s base is 2005 and there are reserve wines coming from 7 different vintages: 2004, 2003, 2002, 2001, 2000, 1999 and 1998 all kept in oak casks. For Brut Premier, the estate grapes – all grand cru and premier cru - represent around 55%. I like to think of them as a cross of a grower estate and a grand marques, as they own 65% of the vineyards for their wines.
We hope that this valuable and rare distinction will help make Brut Premier the NV champagne of choice, enhancing wine lists and retail shelves. Your customers will certainly thank you when they taste the difference.

L'Ecole #41
April 06, 2010
Recognized as not only one of the great pioneers of Walla Walla and Washington State, but as one of the West Coast’s foremost wineries. L'Ecole #41 has a great reputation for being a top producer with textbook varietal character and plenty of Walla Walla class. I thought I'd send you some of their most recent accolades and pricing for a few of their beauties.
Growers Pierre Peters

Why drink Grower Estate Champagne?
• You should drink Grower Estate Champagne if you've forgotten that Champagne is wine.
• You should drink Farmer Fizz if you'd rather buy Champagne from a farmer rather than from a factory.
• You should drink Grower Champagne if you'd rather have a wine expressive of a vineyard than a wine formed by a Marketing Swami from a Luxury Group.
• You should drink Artisan Champagne because it's honest REAL wine made by a Vintner – by a Family just like yours – by a HIM or a HER and not by an IT.
• You should drink it because it is honestly priced based on what it costs to produce, not manipulated to account for massive PR and ad budgets or to hold on to market share.
• You should drink Grower Champagne because like all hand-crafted, estate bottled wines, it is not a mere Thing, but indeed a Being, expressive of where it grew and who raised it.
If you are not familar with Grower Estate fizz...read on. Grower Estate Champagne is the real deal. Small, family-owned vineyards. Small batches of wine. Hand-crafted. With care and precision. Hard to find, hard to get (especially in half and large formats). These are the wines grown and made by vineyard owners, with small patches of grapes, not the glitz and glamour of the big named houses. Passionate farmers making fizz. Farmer Fizz.
Pierre Peters Cuvee Reserve Blanc de Blancs NV Brut. Grand Cru Vineyards. Superb fruit. Precision and balance. One of the best darn bottles of fizz your palate and your customers have yet to come across. Half bottles, full sized bottles, and big bottles of Farmer Fizz are in stock.

92 Points
Very subtle aromas of pear, minerals, toast, smoke and earth, with a whiff of mushroom adding complexity. Very intensely flavored and spicy, with exotic flavors and superb cut. Densely packed, powerful blanc de blancs, with lovely sweetness of fruit leavened by strong but ripe acids. Finishes long, brisk and quite dry, with a bracing minerality. Very classy stuff.
