Tamarack Cabernet

August 29, 2011

Our friends at Tamarack Cellars of Walla Walla are largely known for their deliciously reliable "Firehouse Red".  It's a tasty little gem we love to offer and drink, but, their main focus is Cabernet.  And just to prove it, their 2007 Cabernet has received a nice score from the Wine Spectator of 93 points$26.00 Btl.

It's loaded with vineyard pedigree, like Seven Hills, Tapteil, DuBrul, and Ciel du Cheval, just to name a few and is carefully made by hand. It's the real deal.

  Wine Spectator - 93 points
"This dense, focused and juicy red offers fresh blackberry and currant fruit, with a delicate savory edge weaving through the long, expressive finish. Approachable, but sturdy tannins need time to soften. Best from 2012 through 2019."
